Jack Wilshere makes brutal dig at Man United fans ahead of FA Youth Cup final

Jack Wilshere led Arsenal U18s to a win over Manchester City U18s in the FA Youth Cup semi-final on Tuesday.

The young Gunners are now through to the final, which was between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest last season.

Wilshere couldn’t resist poking a dig at the Red Devils as he said: “I watched the Youth Cup final last year and there was 60,000 there.

“And I know that our fans are better than Man United fans.

“What the fans can create, is special. I want the players to experience that. Let’s get the fans down and get their support.”

The final will take place on April 29 as Wilshere and the young Gunners aim for a historic triumph.

Arsenal will discover their opponent once the second semi-final between Southampton and West Ham concludes.
