Player Ratings: Arsenal 1-1 Fulham – Saka gets 7.1 as Gunners drop points at home

Arsenal suffered a setback in their bid to finish this season inside the European places.

Both sides struggled to find the cutting edge in the final third as they went into the half-time break with a goalless score-line.

Fulham got took the lead in the 59th minute courtesy of Josh Maja’s penalty. However, Arsenal scored a late equalizer via Eddie Nketiah’s finish in injury-time.

Here is our player rating:

Mat Ryan – 6.2

Never really had that much to do as he was hardly tested during the game.

Hector Bellerin – 5.4

He seems to have lost motivation and played like he didn’t belong here anymore.

Rob Holding – 6.7

Holding dealt with everything efficiently and played with composure.

Gabriel – 5.1

The Brazilian defender was guilty of giving a penalty in the second half after catching Lemina with a reckless challenge. Mistakes are creeping in his game.

Granit Xhaka – 6.0

He did a good job defensively but lacked quality going forward. Never a solution for a left back position.

Dani Ceballos – 6.8

His overall display was good and bright but others around him let him down.

Mohamed Elneny – 5.0

Another very average performance from the Egyptian and there are far too many of them this season. We need to find an upgrade for him in the summer.

Bukayo Saka – 7.1

Saka was the most dangerous Arsenal player on the day again.

Emile Smith Rowe – 6.4

The youngster tried hard to influence the proceedings but never really happened for him.

Gabriel Martinelli – 6.6

He was a constant menace for the opposing defence but was not clinical enough in front of the goal.

Alexandre Lacazette – 5.8

He was not having the best of games until he sustained an injury in the 70th minute.

Substitutes:

Thomas Partey – 6, Nicolas Pepe – 6, Eddie Nketiah – 6.3
