Player Ratings: Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal were the better side in the NLD and deserved to win the game! This win helps Gunners to close the gap between them and their Neighbours and boost their chances of ending the campaign in a European place.

He was hardly tested by a very defensive Spurs and was not at fault for their goal.

Cedric Soares – 7.2

He was in fine form and getting better every time I watch him. Very capable replacement for Bellerin

Kieran Tierney – 8.5

He combined very well with Smith Rowe down the left and provided the assist for Odegaard’s goal.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 7.6

Solid form him yet again, just as in the Europa League and saved a certain goal with a block in the second half.

David Luiz – 7.1

Contained Harry Kane the whole game. Solid.

Granit Xhaka – 7

Very steady performance from Swiss international.

Thomas Partey – 6.7

He will play better as he gain fitness after injury ravaged season.

Martin Odegaard – 8.4

Classy performance from the Norwegian whose work rate is top notch. Scored the equalizing goal to bring Arsenal back in the game.

Bukayo Saka – 6.5

He gets targeted by defenders now. He needs to get used it as he is such a dangerous player for the opposition.

Emile Smith Rowe – 8

Combined well with Tierney and Doherty could not handle him.

Alexandre Lacazette – 6.8

He won and scored the penalty for the winning goal, but he was guilty of missing some chances.


Nicolas Pepe – 6.4

He had a hand in Tottenham conceding the penalty and showed he can play in a high pressure game.

Willian – 6

His calm presence helped the team to keep the lead when he came on.
