Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has described Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez as "a spectacular player" and said he hopes he will join the Bundesliga champions.
Vidal, a Chile international teammate of Sanchez, told Sport Bild that signing the attacker would improve Bayern still further.
Sanchez is out of contract at Arsenal next summer, and reports have linked him with both Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain.
"We'll see if Alexis is coming. I do not know yet," Vidal said.

Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette over recent season's has displayed why he's considered one of the best strikers in Europe.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said Arsenal are interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette but would have to pay €65 million to get him.
Lacazette, 26, has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this summer after scoring 37 goals in 45 games for the Ligue 1 club last season.
