Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac, both with hamstring injury, will be assessed ahead of the trip to Selhurst Park. Stephan Lichtsteiner or Granit Xhaka set to deputise if both miss out. Ainsley Maitland-Niles is back in training and back in contention but it is a long shot.
Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Alexandre Lacazette look set to start after being rested to the bench in Arsenal’s win over Sporting on Thursday, leaving Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to do battle with Henrikh Mkhitaryan for that final attacking midfield spot. Both players started on Thursday evening so with four goals in two substitute appearances, Aubameyang may get the nod. As Unai Emery proved with Lacazette earlier in the season, though, he can stubborn with his team selections.
Matteo Guendouzi and Aaron Ramsey are options in central midfield if Xhaka is fielded at left-back, while Sokratis is fit to challenge for a place at centre-half.
Petr Cech is back in training and may come into contention, though Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Mavropanos are still unavailable.
