Arsenal have made a bid for Alexandre Lacazette today but Lyon have rejected the Gunners’ €35m offer. Not a big surprise as similar bids from West Ham and us earlier in the summer were rejected for the prolific striker. Lyon’s valuation of Lacazette is reportedly around £40 million, a reasonable asking price in the current market and more than affordable for a club of Arsenal’s stature. Arsenal stars who were not involved in Euro 2016 and Copa America returned to training for the first time on Wednesday.
