After going through a very disappointing start of the New Year Arsenal got back to winning ways against Bournemouth last weekend.
I hope the dropped points at home to Chelsie and Southampton do not prove very costly at the end of the season. Although the surprise package of the season Leicester opening a gap of 5 points at the top of the table, Arsenal are still slight favourites to win the Premiership title according to Bet Bind.
The main worry is that the team is not playing as fluently as we know they can and Alexis Sanchez is still yet to recover his best form after a lengthy lay off after pulling his hamstring at the end of last year.
On the plus side, we still managed to keep in touch with the top of the table due to having a World class goalkeeper (I still think that I am having this beautiful dream that Petr Cech is an Arsenal GK then I realise that it is for real) and the brilliant, on form Mesut Ozil. We also have our Coq back out in all important defensive midfield position. Unfortunately, Flamini, as passionate as he is about Arsenal, just does not cut it at this highest of levels.
With many vital players due to fully recover from their long injuries, we still can look forward to run in to this most amazing Premiership season.
