Arsenal 3 -1 Sunderland

We got the much needed win today but it wasn’t easy. As expected Sunderland were put out to frustrate us.

We weren’t at our best as a team but brilliant Mesut Ozil was, the defence splitting through ball he played was just World class, perfectly timed and weighted. I am so happy to see him making his critics eating a humble pie this season. His overall play was excellent again, long may it continue.

Peter Cech came up with the goods as well by producing vital saves at vital times. Also, I am so glad that Koscielny’s injury wasn’t bad enough to keep him out of today’s game as he played very well.

Unfortunately Oxlade Chamberlain performance wasn’t good enough, hopefully due to being not match fit yet but he must get better. We will need him in coming weeks. Despite his goal Giroud form is a little worry too but luckily Walcott looked bright returning from his long injury lay off when he came on in the later stages of the game.

Despite some negatives it was good to get back to winning ways.
