Norwich 1 – 1 Arsenal

After a good start to the game Arsenal’s injury and November jinx struck. Is it bad luck or bad management? The easy answer to that would be a bit of both.

If it is due to bad luck the obvious question would be; why take risk with an as important player as Alexis knowing that he has hamstring problems before the game? Which points towards bad management than bad luck in my opinion.

More worryingly, lack of quality depth in our squad was very evident after we lost Koscielny to a hip injury. Gabriel looked very shaky and was at fault for their equaliser. Coquelin was a big miss in the all-important DM position and unfortunately Campbell failed to grab his chance once again when Alexis pulled his suspect hamstring in the second half.

Although we control the most of the game, we could have lost it but for a great save from Cech from Gabriel’s attempted headed clearance.

On a positive note, Ozil was our best player by a mile and scored a lovely goal, Alexis looked lovely until he got injured and we had Ramsey and Ox back from injuries, November is over and we are still in touching distance from the top.
